I'm not sure where to go from here and was hoping someone a bit more knowledgeable than myself may have suggestions. When your console is in safe mode, the first option you see on the screen is to restart it. Now that we’ve explained the safe mode and why your console gets stuck, let’s look at some solutions to the problem. It goes through the process of installing the update but then after it restarts. I tried both the recovery and ofw downloads of the 9.00 firmware. I was in the process of dumping another game using the dumper on karo host and I noticed an notification for 'Not enough system memory'. I was able to successfully apply the jailbreak, run an fpkg I already had, and dump a few games, convert to fpkg and play these as well. In most cases, you can do so through the Safe Mode menu that is provided. I'm on a model CUH-115A PS4, running OFW 9.00. As it turns out, there are various ways using which you can get your console out of Safe Mode. I've tried searching around but I don't see any other threads with this problem that weren't fixed by things I've already tried. I've been messing with this for the last 2 days and want to make sure I'm not missing anything simple before I break open my PS4. ![]()
