Two-thirds of those planning to migrate said they intend to return to their villages. “I will find a job near wherever they go to school.”Ī survey released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in April found that one-half of rural Chinese aren’t interested in moving to the cities, citing their age, the need to take care of parents and children, and unfamiliarity with urban life. “I will definitely not let my future child become a left-behind child,” she says. While Pan’s parents worked in a factory in Huizhou, in Guangdong province, she was raised by her grandmother before going to a government boarding school. “I have experienced how lonely it is to grow up lacking in parental love,” says Pan Guofen, 23, who manages e-commerce orders for the organic vegetables, fruit, and meat produced at Qianlafang. There’s a growing national awareness of the social costs of migration. “My mother and father are too old, so I returned to take care of them,” he says. Now he raises free-range chickens at Qianlafang Ecological Agriculture Development, an organic farm and tourist resort in Luodian County, only 70 kilometers from his hometown, where his parents still live. ![]() “You can’t ever earn that much money, and you are far away from your family.” Shi worked in a cloth-dyeing factory in Zhejiang province before moving back to Guizhou two years ago to live with his wife, 5-year-old son, and 7-year-old daughter. “Being a migrant is not fun,” says Shi Wenjian. “Now we think that the service economy and tourism should lift rural China.” “Starting in the 1980s, China’s countryside grew through reliance on manufacturing and processing,” says Sun Zhe, chairman of GoHome, a travel website that helps urbanites enjoy Guizhou’s traditional country life. Under a policy colorfully called “Returning Geese Revitalize Guizhou,” provincial officials are offering returnees free entrepreneurial training, tax waivers for businesses they start, and low-interest loans. The statistics bureau doesn’t track returning migrants, but Guizhou does: Last year 1.2 million returned to the province, up from 520,000 in 2011. ![]() “The flood of rural labor has slowed to a trickle and may dry up altogether,” Miller says. Many of the migrants simply go to nearby cities and townships to live and work. In 2016 the total could fall, says Tom Miller, an analyst for the Beijing-based consulting firm Gavekal Dragonomics. Last year the number of migrants from the countryside edged up 0.4 percent, to a total of 169 million, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. “Now our migrants are coming back with new skills,” such as a knowledge of computers, he says. “Before, we relied on planting rice, corn, and peppers and remittances from our young people who went out to find work,” says Mo Bochun, a village official sitting in the local party service center under a huge poster portraying Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Deng Xiaoping, set above images of President Xi Jinping and his two predecessors, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao. He expects tourists to flock to this out-of-the-way place surrounded by steep mountains and rushing rivers. “I knew that the water was so much cleaner and better here in Guizhou-good for raising fish.” Now that he’s launched his fish farm, he plans to open a restaurant in Binghuacun featuring his mountain-farmed fish. When Mo saw locals running a fish farm near the factory where he worked in Guangxi province, “I decided I wanted to start one, too,” he says. A push to develop interior China had brought high-speed rail and expressways to Guizhou, helping spur economic growth. Factory jobs on the coast were drying up, and he sensed opportunity in his home village. For more information, see Transforms and Jobs. The transform defines a recipe for your encoding settings and outputs the job is an instance of the recipe. To encode with Media Services v3, you need to create a Transform and a Job. This requires you to create a Streaming Locator and build streaming URLs corresponding to the supported protocols, which can then be handed off to devices/apps based on their capabilities. You can then use the Dynamic Packaging capability in Media Services to deliver the video via streaming protocols like MPEG-DASH and HLS. In doing so, you'll get a set of MP4 files and associated streaming configuration files written to an Asset in your storage account. You can use Media Services to encode your mezzanine files at multiple bitrates. This results in a so-called encoding ladder–a table of resolutions and bitrates (see auto-generated adaptive bitrate ladder or use the content aware encoding preset). To ensure graceful transition of quality, the resolution of the video is lowered as the bitrate is lowered. To prepare content for delivery by adaptive bitrate streaming, the mezzanine file needs to be encoded at multiple bitrates (high to low). ![]() Otherwise, you can use Media Services to list the asset container URLs. ![]() You get closer to the subject using a lens rather than degrading the quality of the image by spreading out the remaining megapixels when you crop (or digitally zoom). Optical zoom is always better than cropping (assuming all other variables remain the same). If you shoot the photo already zoomed in, you cannot go back–the only photo that got recorded has the noise and blur recorded, too.Īs a side note, in case you’re curious, I also got out an old 10 megapixel DSLR (to make it somewhat more comparable to the 8 megapixel iPhone–although it’s still apples and oranges) to demonstrate what optical zoom looks like. the main advantage to not digitally zooming while shooting is that you can decide later how much cropping your photo can stand without creating graininess and reducing sharpness. This is not exactly a scientific process, but my experience in the field is that I have consistently gotten better results by taking the photo without zooming and cropping to the degree the photo can tolerate before it gets too grainy and blurred over trying to zoom in while I’m shooting. The digital zoom yielded a slightly sharper image than cropping a non-zoomed photo. Interestingly, I got the exact opposite results. I showed you how to crop a photo using Snapseed in Lesson 41, but I thought I would show you today how cropping compares to using digital zoom. So, if you’re not supposed to use the digital zoom feature on the iPhone (the only “zoom” capability the iPhone offers) and you can’t get physically closer to your subject, what are you supposed to do? Well, the only other option is cropping your photo. Second, as I mentioned in Lesson 41, getting too close can cause unattractive distortion in the your subject’s face. ShapeShift, which publishes all trades on its platform, said they have already blocked addresses associated with the hack. Converting NEM coins into a more anonymized currency, like Monero, could conceivably launder them. Does that mean the hackers won’t be able to cash in? Each one has been labeled with a tag that reads “coincheck_stolen_funds_do_not_accept_trades : owner_of_this_account_is_hacker.” NEM developers created a tracking tool that would allow exchanges to automatically reject stolen funds. ![]() ![]() ![]() If you are looking into puppy play, it is likely you will be your puppies only master or if you’re a pup, you will only have one master. They all obey me and do as I say, they ask me to train them and care for them when they are inside of my dungeon and even some of them ask me to care for them and be there master outside of my dungeon. I am a professional dominatrix and therefore I am a master (handler) to many puppies. I’m An Owner To Lots Of Puppies, Dogs, Alphas And Omegas Puppy play is a lot different from being a furry and should not be put into the same category as someone who enjoys furry play. People who enjoy being a puppy often enjoy getting away from being themselves, having a totally different persona and letting themselves be totally free.ĭogs tend to sleep all day, eat from the floor, defecate when told too, dogs also are rewarded for being good and punished for being bad and people that enjoy puppy play often bring this into their own existence. Puppy play can be done alone, by the puppy, this is where the puppy will wear their accessories around their homes or out discreetly in public, going to events and meet-ups for other puppies or puppy play is done in groups of two or more where the puppy is cared for by a master and is unable to do anything the master doesn’t allow them to do, much like a real dog. The puppy is cared for by the Alpha (dominant) who treats them as their puppy, scratching them, training them, reprimanding them and often sexually pleasuring them. Puppy play is a certain kink where the beta (submissive) is the puppy, wearing dog masks, paws, tails, collars and more to show off their status as a puppy. It’s not a walk in the park (no pun intended) to master the art of puppy play but if it’s something you’re interested in I have outlined below everything you need to know about puppy play in order to be the best puppy or master possible. I am a professional dominatrix and men come into my dungeon all of the time looking for me to be there master as they run around my dungeon like a little doggy. Today I want to talk to you about puppy play, also known as ‘pup play’. ![]() ![]() A tuft of hair on the thorax of most black bee species is identifiable.
